The fourth edition of Project Sukacita took place on 7-11 Dec, 2015. 21 volunteers, 17 of which were Tanoto Scholars, visited childcare centres in Kerinci to do springcleaning and also conduct lessons for the children.

The team taught the children lessons on general hygiene, nutrition, oral hygiene, art and craft and basic English.

Project Sukacita is one of many platforms through which Tanoto Foundation contribute to the enhancement of the quality of life in the less privileged communities in Sumatra. It is part of the overall philosophy of Tanoto Foundation founder Sukanto Tanoto to do what is good for the communities that are within or near RGE business groups' operation areas.

At the same time, Tanoto Scholar volunteers get to be more aware of development issues confronting rural societies, and they can develop themselves to be responsible and engaged citizens in the future.
