RGE was among sponsors for the Indonesia Lunch Dialogue at the World Economic Forum in Davos 2016. The 21 Jan event saw an esteemed panel comprising leaders from academia, government and the private sector giving their assessment of the challenges Indonesia has to confront and overcome.

Indonesia Trade Minister Tom Lembong, Indonesia Finance Minsiter Bambang Brodjonegoro, Bank Mandiri CEO Budi Sadikin, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy Dean Professor Kishore Mahbubani, and Indonesia Chamber of Commerce (KADIN) Vice-Chairman Anindya Bakrie took turns to touch on various aspects of Indonesia's challenges and strengths such as the socio-cultural, economic and political.

A WEF partner for the second consecutive year, RGE is proud to have co-sponsored the lunch dialogue, as it aligns with its companies push to continually complement the Indonesian government agenda for sustainable development. Implemented with business efficiency and guided by sustainability best practices, RGE companies continue to create shared value that extends beyond the domains of business and profit.

Job creation, community development programmes, raising productivity, improving incomes and income diversity, diversifying skillsets, contributing to infrastructure development, providing electrical power to villages outside the national grid, fostering ground-up fire prevention initiatives. These are just some of the many results achieved by RGE companies that have benefited communities and the country.

With RGE's involvement in WEF, we continue to learn as we share our practices and the positive results achieved, with a global audience of like-minded leaders.
