Good for Community. Good for Country. Good for Climate. Good for Company. These are the values espoused by Sukanto Tanoto and enshrined in RGE and its group of companies.

RGE recently observed the first anniversary of its Forestry, Fibre, Pulp & Paper Sustainability Framework, which sets out guiding principles for each of its business groups to adopt into policy and practice.

This milestone is just one of many milestones the RGE group of companies have achieved as they grow as responsible and sustainable businesses.

In the last year, the likes of APRIL Group have made great leaps and bounds in terms of conservation, eco-restoration, fire prevention, certification, supply chain transparency and accountability. China-based pulp and paper producer Asia Symbol alos rolled out their sustainable sourcing policy and earned national recognition for its sustainability and CSR efforts.

Collaborations are also key in RGE companies' sustainability journeys. Sateri not only published their sustainability and pulp sourcing policies, but are working with NGO Canopy to ensure its policy implementation and supply chain tracing efforts are of the highest standards.

Similarly, Apical and Asian Agri, who have also released their sustainability policies, partnered The Forest Trust to improve supply chain traceability.
